Aim
To aid consistency in coding congenital anomalies throughout England & Wales & co-ordinate changes in surveillance between ONS and EUROCAT.

Work plan - Development of a Coding framework for congenital anomalies

• Two workshops held in London (07/03/2006 & 25/04/2006l) and work by email
• Send out the draft framework for comment to all local registers reporting to NCAS by 8th June
• Comments received from local registers reporting to NCAS by 14th July
• Ironing out coding differences/problems amongst registers July/August
• Official acceptance: BINOCAR conference 28th Sept
